HSG led the effort to negotiate and implement the first true risk contract involving FQHCs in New York State.
We worked on behalf of an IPA and served as the lead negotiator with the health plan. Through this agreement, the providers will see increased revenue when they succeed in achieving better outcomes for a very complex patient population with significant behavioral health needs.
HSG developed the key metrics, calculated the target budget, evaluated risk-adjustment options, and helped the provider figure out its TPA options. Without our help, this first-in-the-state contract simply would not have happened.
